This post outlines a great way to grow an abundance of tomatoes quickly, relying on their thirst for water. The materials needed for this tomato cage are found easily at a local hardware and gardening store.
The tomatoes were planted around what looks like a plastic garbage can and surrounded by a wire cage, along with some compost in the garbage can.

Note: The biggest issue I see is with harvesting. From the pictures the plant growth is so heavy, “finding” the tomatoes could be a problem!
