Africa is a land where creatures of all sizes, shapes, diversities, and marvels roam freely.
Whether it’s to witness their beauty, fierceness, or magnitude, people come from far and wide just to admire this wildlife without impacting the animals in any way.
Some visitors, however, leave a much more malign effect while on safari in Africa.
People like Tess Thompson Talley, aka TTT, of Texas, are on safari to actually hunt and murder these animals.
Safari hunters use all sorts of labels and excuses – adventure, sport, thrill, or trophy.
But, the fact remains that they’re hunting down and killing rare, exotic, and even endangered animals because they find it fun and entertaining.
Safari trophy hunts aren’t anything new, but most trophy game hunters were once quite secretive about their actions.
Today’s trophy hunters are unabashedly posting videos and pictures of themselves in action.
Such as American trophy hunter TTT did when she was part of a safari group in South Africa that took down as many big game animals as they could manage to hunt down.
Sadly, this isn’t even a once in a lifetime ‘thing.’ TTT has killed many controversial and rare animals, and her social media pages are full of the photographic evidence.
While all the kills have earned TTT backlash from animal rights groups and advocates, a picture she posted to social media of herself and an endangered black giraffe she’d killed has people absolutely livid.
The picture of TTT and her black giraffe kill was captioned with “dream hunt” information about the age, size, sex, and meat yield.
She even admits the black giraffe she stalked and killed was “rare.” Those commenting were anything but impressed, however.
